Don Warshaw- NY Set Designer
Don Warshaw, is a NY Set Designer/Creative Director who transforms a space into a vibrant and dynamic environment that enhances and supports the production, the brand, and the targeted marketing initiatives of his clients. Designing scenery for theater, opera, dance and concert productions Don brings the excitement and edge of the theatrical world to the corporate marketplace. He has been providing award-winning creative for product launches, exhibitions, and media events staged both in the United States and abroad for over twenty years.
Mentored by Oliver Smith at Tisch School of the Arts at NYU, Don went on to post-graduate study in Theatre Design at the Slade School of Fine Art, University College London. He studied under Nicholas Georgiadis Covent Garden, Royal Ballet, Peter Snow and Sir William Coldstream (founder of the Euston Road School of Painting and Headmaster of the Slade School) and received his Higher Diploma of Fine Art.
Don is one of the original members of the Society of British Designers and was an active participant in the meetings that led to the formation of the Designer’s unit in Equity (UK) He was sponsored by Sir Richard Pilbrow and Sir John Bury at it’s founding.
