Production Design for film and TV brings the audience to another time, place and possibly another dimension. Beginning with the breakdown of the script, the Production Designer meets with the director to understand how the director interprets the story. In a series of pre-production meetings, the Director and Production Designer work out the camera setup shots to achieve the feeling, color, and action of the film.
The Production Designer is responsible for the overall look of the film, handling the budget, creating environments, arranging for props, art direction, the build of the set in studio or on location to ensure that the thread of the storyline is continuous and visually real in regards to the time period that the film takes place in. Most importantly creating the environment that gives the director the opportunity to adjust and make changes.
We design sets and settings for national commercials, feature films, television, sports events, concerts, award shows. Some of our work includes a recreation of an 18th-century French court, a giant retractable rock-and-roll set for a massive pay-per-view event, an ancient Japanese village.
Our corporate productions include brand and product introductions, keynote, and media events which include pharmaceutical, technology, and financial services industries.
