Trade show design for an internet company
Designing Trade Show booths for startups
Surprise, Surprise, the link below on the hustle.co site just popped up, all about a new form of currency on the web, our cutting-edge design was way ahead of its time.
In 1999 when the dotcom companies were exploding onto the digital world, we got a call from the newly established outpost of the new British Cryptocurrency “beenz,” to design a trade show booth to introduce their web currency service to the internet audience. There were lots of in-line and pop up booths at the Internet World show but our 10’x20′ custom designed trade show booth hit the mark. People, three and four rows deep formed to find out what this company was all about. The excitement over what we could do was contagious as other companies wanted our creative. We were off to a good start, as “beenz” was expanding, we designed larger sized exhibit booths in England that won a Platnimum prize one year for Innovation and Best in Design the next year. https://www.designscape-.com/awards/ We designed billboards in San Francisco and the company had plans to exhibit in Europe, South America, and Asia, the attached link has the rest of the story with a photo of our booth.
